Booking

You're encouraged to book your wedding, as soon as possible.  Marvin Alexander Bridal is sought after and I want to ensure I am able to be there for you on your special day.  Currently, I'm booking through end of 2021.

Travel

All services are offered on-location whether that is for your Bridal Preview, Wedding Day, or any other special event.  Travel is offered complimentary within 20 miles of zip code 11106.  If you're in need of services further away,  I'm more than happy to accommodate.

Bridal Previews

Bridal Previews are an excellent way to sort through ideas and to create the perfect Wedding Day beauty look. When it comes to Bridal Previews, you're encouraged to have photos of the looks you are inspired by, looks that fall in line with the mood and feeling of the wedding, along with the emotion of the dress.  

It is also helpful to have all hair accessories (or stand ins) , veil etc. at your Bridal Preview.  Additionally, if you're planning or thinking about using extensions, please have them available.  If you need assistance sourcing your extensions, please let me know.

If you need to schedule an additional Bridal Preview, outside of your package, you can do so.  Please inquire about the additional fees associated with that booking.

Packages

As each bride and her guests are different, so are the packages offered.  Packages are able to include makeup and hair services, makeup only services, hair only services.  Each detail is designed to be specific to you and your guests.  I am able to accommodate large parties that include Mother's, Bridesmaids, Junior Bridesmaids, and additional guest attendees.

Payments - Deposits/ Retainers - Gratuity

All retainers and payments for services are accepted using PayPal. Gratuity is only accepted in cash. 

Your Bridal Package requires a non-refundable retainer and is due at the time you make your Wedding Day reservation.  Please keep in mind, the non-refundable retainer is not a separate payment, but think of it as a payment for your Bridal Preview service.  Additionally, as a courtesy, a hold placed on your Wedding Day until 7 days after your Bridal Preview.

After your Bridal Preview, your Bridal Package offer is valid for 7 days.  In order to confirm your booking for your Wedding Day, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of total services booked for the entire Bridal Party must be paid and contract signed.

 

My primary purpose is to ensure you look and feel your most beautiful.  While gratuity isn't expected, your generosity certainly is appreciated.  Customarily gratuity is 20-30%.

 

*For whatever reason, you decide to not move forward with Marvin Alexander Bridal after your Bridal Preview, your date will be released and you're under no further financial obligation.

Day of service expectations

Arrival is 15-20 minutes early to setup.  Prior to arrival, please have a clean face and clean dry hair.  

There is flexibility in being able to setup in a variety of spaces, however, some essentials include:

Counter space – space is needed for both hair and makeup to setup up tools and products.

Chairs – makeup will need a higher chair, if possible.  Hair is able to use regular chairs.  Venues can provide these in advance.

Wardrobe – to avoid challenges when it comes time to get dressed, please wear a collared shirt or robe.

Beauty Service Schedule

To aide in the smoothness of your Wedding Day, a Beauty Service Schedule will be created.  The Beauty Service Schedule will be emailed to you two weeks before the date of your Wedding Day and you can distribute to the Bridesmaids, Mothers and other members of the party receiving services.  This will inform everyone of their appointment time and any additional prepping instructions.

The appointment timing for each guest receiving services is approximately 45 minutes minutes per service.  Bridal services are allotted 1 hour per service.

Cancellations/ Refunds

I understand, sometimes things change and we are sympathetic to that.  With respect, you have up to 60 days from your Wedding Day to cancel services not yet rendered and receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable retainer.  You have up to 30 days from the Wedding Day to cancel services not yet rendered and receive a 50% refund.  If you need to cancel your wedding day services for any reason, barring acts of GOD, with less than 30 days notice, NO refunds will be issued.

Under NO circumstances with refunds be issued for services rendered.

* All cancellation notices must be submitted via email communication (no phone calls, no texts).
